Biography

Born in Fort Davis, Texas, in 1930. Served in U.S. Air Force, 1950-70. Active for twenty-five years in Boys and Girls State program of American Legion, Commander of Prescott Post for six terms, State Commander 1986. National award for service to veterans, 1994. Active in Yavapai County Special Olympics, D.A.R.E., Citizen Historical Cemetery Association, Sharlot Hall Museum’s Ernest A. Love project. Promotes patriotism in City of Prescott, working with schools and youth. Founded and serves as Officer of the Day for the local honor guard. Active in Elks, Veterans of Foreign Wars, Moose, Eagles, Korean War Veterans. Regular volunteer at Bob Stump VA Medical Center. Named 2004 volunteer of the year, Northern Arizona Healthcare System. Active member of St. Germains Catholic Church.
