Biography

(1919–2005) Served in the U.S. Army, 45th Division, European Theater, during WWII as a heavy weapons platoon sergeant. Discharged in 1944 due to service-connected disabilities. Moved from Oklahoma to Arizona in 1952. Retired from the maintenance department at Williams Air Force Base in 1971 and began devoting all his time to the Disabled American Veterans. Has held office at local, state, and national levels of the DAV, and his accomplishments in those offices have been recognized by several Arizona governors. Is an expert in parliamentary procedures and has been a long time member of the American Institute of Parliamentarians and National Association of Parliamentarians. An active member of the Masonic Order, Sooners, and Veterans of Foreign Wars.
