Born in Phoenix, Arizona in 1944. Active duty Staff Sergeant/ Aerial Scout, US Army, aboard various helicopters in Vietnam. US Army, Retired, 2004, with 32 years of service. An active member of ten organizations including the Elks Tempe Lodge 2251; Chapter 432, Vietnam Veterans of America; The American Legion Post 84; and Masonic Lodge #29 Phoenix; Henry Brown has volunteered 1700+ hours at the VA Medical Center Phoenix with the Elks Veteran’s Service program which organizes holiday and other events for the patients; and at the State Veteran Home Phoenix, organizing meals and recreation events for the residents. He also takes veterans on fishing trips, to picnics at Steele Indian School Park, and to barbecues at the Elks Lodge. Henry regularly volunteers with the Military Family Support Group which ships care packages to troops overseas.
