Biography

Born in Ottawa, Kansas in 1938. Entered the U.S. Air Force in 1958 as an aviation cadet and retired in 1984 as a Colonel. After a civilian career in the defense electronics industry working with the US Navy, he retired from Raytheon in 2003 as the Production Program Director for Tomahawk Cruise Missiles. Is active in advocating for the military, veterans, their dependents and survivors. He is a Life Member of the Air Force Association (AFA) and the Military Officers Association of America (MOAA). Among his accomplishments, he is a Past President of the Arizona Council of MOAA Chapters and is a past Chairman of Unified Arizona Veterans (UAV). He currently chairs the Arizona Veterans’ Service Advisory Commission and serves on the MOAA National Board of Directors.
