Born in Pottstown, Pennsylvania in 1944. Specialist 4, US Army, served in Vietnam and Colorado. Resident of Sun City, Arizona. An active member of Elks Lodge 2559, Sun City, Gary since 2009 has become Chairman, West District and State Representative working with the Arizona State Veteran Home Phoenix. He has organized activities for veterans (indoor bingo, Diamondbacks baseball games, ice arena shows, and dinner outings). Since 2010 Gary has led the efforts to provide power wheelchairs, exercise equipment, furniture and clothing to homeless shelters for veterans such as the US VETS Victory Place, the US VETS Grand Veterans Village Phoenix, the Central Arizona Shelter Services, and the Madison Street Veterans Association’s MANA (Marine, Army, Navy, and Air Force) House. Gary also arranges bowling and cookouts for veterans living in shelters.
