(1928-2010) Born in Myton, Utah in 1928. Entered U.S. Army 1950, served in Korea, discharged 1953. Employed by U.S. Internal Revenue for 30 years. Relocated to Arizona in 1983. Past Department Commander of Disabled American Veterans, presently serves as Department Commander. Coordinated the Glendale Veterans Day parade for many years. Volunteer driver for the DAV Transportation program at the VA Medical Center until 1995, driving over 20,000 miles. Active in American Legion, has served 15 years on the Post 29 Honor Guard at the National Cemetery. Member of Glendale Civic Pride Ambassadors and served on the City of Glendale Persons with Disabilities Commission. Currently serves on the City of Glendale Housing Advisory Commission.
