Biography

Born in Mount Vernon, New York in 1948, Colonel (Ret) Christine Mahon served in the US Army Reserve for 33 years. She is an Army War College graduate. She served as a Chief Nurse during Operations Desert Shield/Desert Storm, and retired in 2003 as a Hospital Commander. She retired as Program Administrator for the Maricopa County Department of Public Health. A lifelong volunteer, Christine has served populations from newborn to the elderly. She is a board member of Veterans First serving women veterans, and is an active member of the Military Order of the World Wars. Christine Mahon has served as Chair of the Senior Advocacy Group of Ahwatukee serving the aging population, is a Life Member and Archivist of the Arizona Public Health Association, and an active volunteer at her church.
